While it is our goal to contract with every insurance company available to us, we currently have agreements in place to bill insurance for patients who carry policies with the following companies. It is important to note insurance coverage can vary based on your specific policy and level of coverage. Although it is always advisable to verify your insurance coverage before treatment, if your priority is solely to get better, disregarding insurance coverage is an option.

1. HMSA (Blue Cross/Blue Shield): We have a longstanding partnership with HMSA to ensure that our patients receive the chiropractic care they need. If you carry a policy with HMSA you are entitled to 8 unmanaged chiropractic visits per year. Chiropractic benefits may not be included with every policy. CoPay, Co-Insurance and Deductibles vary with each plan. If you have a PPO policy, you do not need a referral for chiropractic care. If you have a HMO policy, we will need a referral from your primary care physician (PCP) in order to bill HMSA for your chiropractic visits. If you are a state/federal worker, you may be entitled to more visits per year, depending on your policy. HMSA Quest policies do not carry chiropractic benefits.

2. HMAA: With our collaboration with HMAA, we are equipped to bill insurance for patients covered under their policies. Your chiropractic care at our facility is eligible for coverage, allowing you to focus on your health and well-being. Annual benefit maximums may vary by policy, but typically HMAA will pay out up to $1,000 in benefits per year, with patient responsibility for any deductible amount, and a percentage of co-insurance. Not all HMAA policies are guaranteed to include chiropractic benefits.

3. Kaiser of Hawaii: For those insured by Kaiser of Hawaii, our billing system is set up to streamline the insurance process. By working closely with this insurance provider, we aim to make your chiropractic experience stress-free and accessible. Not all Kaiser policies include chiropractic benefits. Number of visits allowed per year, and CoPay vary by policy. Kaiser Quest policies do not carry chiropractic benefits.

4. Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA): If you have been in a motor vehicle accident we are pleased to inform you that our practice can effectively bill your insurance. You can seek relief from pain and discomfort while knowing that your chiropractic sessions are likely to be covered. While treatments from a MVA are typically covered by insurance, if you have a deductible or co-insurance on your policy, those portions will be pushed to patient responsibility by the insurance company.

5. No Insurance? No problem! Self Pay: At Fortune Chiropractic, we understand the significance of chiropractic care, and we strive to accommodate our patients' needs regardless of insurance coverage. It is important to prioritize your health and well-being, and if chiropractic treatment can aid in your recovery, pursuing it without insurance coverage is a viable choice.

If your insurance company is not currently listed, we still welcome you to explore our services. If your policy will reimburse you for Out-of-Network care, we can provide a super-bill for you to submit to your insurance for reimbursement.
